Synopsis: A coming of age story about two best friends who embark on an adventure of self-discovery and so-called “young love” in the unrepresented Latino streets of Orange County. The lessons learned will determine the path these young boys will take in the end.
Character Breakdowns:
IVAN: 18 (Latino), is a photographer almost at the end of his high school career. Very reserved in his actions. Alcohol is the only thing that lets him break out of his shell.
OSCAR: 18 (Latino), is a bald, gangster-looking guy with the brains of a professional technician. The lack of opportunity drives him to commit petty crimes
ROSIE: 18 (Latino), is the “mom” of the group. She takes care of Ivan and Oscar as if they were her brothers.
MIA: 18, the girl next door, a bit naïve but very aware of her good looks.
STEPHANIE: 18, is outspoken and very set on her ways. She feels she must have a tough attitude to gain respect but is really weak.
ALEX: 18, Charismatic and the most popular jock in school.
LINA: 18, promiscuous young girl with the looks of 22-year-old college student.
JUAN: 23 (Latino), the local gangster who employs Oscar to do his dirty work.
JUNIOR: 19 (Latino), head of his own 5 man gang.
LEVIT: 14-18 (Latino), is Junior’s little brother and part of the gang, but being the young one he is picked on and ridiculed by all of his older friends.
MARY: 18, has low self-esteem but feels better about herself after having sex with multiple partners.
